Harish Rao notices show Revanth Reddy government’s fear, says KTR

Harish Rao notices reflect Revanth government fear: KTR

Hyderabad: BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao on Tuesday said the SIT notices issued to former minister T. Harish Rao reflected fear within the Revanth Reddy government. He accused the Congress of making political vendetta its only agenda.

Reacting to the notices, KTR said the phone tapping case lacked substance. He pointed out that the Supreme Court had already clarified its stand on the issue. However, he alleged that the government continued to issue notices despite judicial observations. According to him, the intent was only to harass opposition leaders.

Moreover, KTR accused the Congress government of indulging in diversion politics. He said the government was trying to shift public attention away from its failures. He further alleged that the targeting of Harish Rao stemmed from his role in exposing an alleged coal block allocation scam involving Revanth Reddy’s brother-in-law, Sujan Reddy.

BRS alleges political vendetta behind Harish Rao notices

Meanwhile, the BRS leader said the government was filing false cases as it failed to counter Harish Rao politically. He claimed the repeated notices formed part of a deliberate strategy to intimidate opposition leaders. He also said the move aimed to settle political scores.

Finally, KTR asserted that the BRS had complete faith in the law and the judiciary. He stated that party leaders were ready to face any inquiry. At the same time, he made it clear that the party would not be intimidated. He added that BRS leaders would continue to expose the failures of the Congress government before the public.
