Hyderabad traffic police issue rain travel advisory
Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a Hyderabad rain advisory after heavy rainfall affected all zones of the city, causing waterlogging and slow-moving traffic at several locations. Officials urged residents to avoid venturing out unless travel was absolutely necessary.
The advisory asked motorists to drive slowly and remain cautious while travelling. Police also instructed commuters to follow traffic personnel deployed on roads and avoid driving through waterlogged stretches to prevent accidents and vehicle breakdowns.
Authorities further advised people to allow extra travel time and plan their journeys in advance, as traffic movement was expected to remain slow due to the continuing rain.
Hyderabad rain advisory urges safe travel
Hyderabad Traffic Police also asked citizens to stay updated with official traffic advisories through its social media platforms for real-time information on road conditions and diversions. Officials reiterated that public safety remained the top priority and appealed to residents to stay indoors whenever possible until weather conditions improved.
