Shabbir Ali distributes sewing machines and CMRF cheques in Nizamabad
Hyderabad: Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir said the Congress government in Telangana remained committed to supporting minorities and poor families through self-employment and financial assistance schemes during programmes held in Nizamabad on Tuesday.
Shabbir Ali distributed sewing machines to eligible minority women at a programme organised by the Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation at the NAC Centre. He said the initiative aimed to strengthen the economic independence of women and help them earn sustainable livelihoods through self-employment.
He said the government was distributing 1,700 sewing machines in Nizamabad district at a cost of Rs 1.02 crore. Of those, 500 machines were allotted to beneficiaries from the Nizamabad Urban constituency. Moreover, he urged the recipients to expand their work into small enterprises and eventually create employment for others.
Shabbir Ali said the state government was implementing several programmes in education, employment, skill development and self-employment to improve the socio-economic status of minority communities. He added that every welfare scheme was being implemented transparently to reach eligible beneficiaries.
Shabbir Ali Nizamabad programme includes CMRF assistance
Later, Shabbir Ali distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to eligible beneficiaries at the R&B Guest House in Nizamabad. He said the scheme provided timely financial assistance to poor families facing medical emergencies, accidents and other hardships.
A total of 42 beneficiaries from different divisions of Nizamabad town received CMRF cheques worth Rs 28 lakh. Furthermore, Shabbir Ali assured that he would continue efforts to ensure every eligible person received assistance without middlemen, recommendations or additional expenses.
He also appealed to officials, public representatives and party leaders to work together so that welfare benefits reached genuine beneficiaries. Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta, NUDA Chairman Keshavenu, Congress leaders, beneficiaries and other public representatives attended the programmes.
