TG-SET 2026 results announced for admissions and backlog seats
Hyderabad: TG-SET 2026 results were announced by Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, confirming admissions for Class V and backlog seats in Classes VI to IX for the 2026–27 academic year.
The results were released at the TGSWREIS Building in the presence of Tejavat Bellayya Naik, Sita Lakshmi, Saidulu and B. M. Santosh. Officials said the TG-SET 2026 results were published online following a transparent evaluation process.
The entrance test was conducted on February 22, 2026, across 492 centres in the state. Out of 1,82,061 registered candidates, 1,72,913 appeared, recording a participation rate of 95 percent. The highest score achieved in the examination was 98 out of 100.
A total of 51,284 seats are available across 635 institutions under TGSWREIS, TGTWREIS, MJPTBCWREIS and TREIS. In Phase–I allotment, 47,381 seats have already been filled, officials said.
TG-SET 2026 results confirm reporting schedule and merit process
Following the TG-SET 2026 results, selected candidates must report to their allotted institutions between March 25 and April 15, 2026, with required documents. Authorities said the admission process will follow strict timelines.
The minister stated that the TG-SET 2026 results were prepared through a merit-based and transparent system. He warned that middlemen or agents would not be tolerated in the admission process.
Officials also highlighted that the examination ensured equal opportunity for students across the state. The selection process was carried out systematically to maintain fairness.
The minister added that discussions with the Finance Department are ongoing to address pending salary issues of employees. Steps are also being taken to regularise wages in line with labour laws.
