Governor interacts with Viksit Bharat Young Leaders

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma met Stage-III winners from Telangana selected for the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue–2026. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is organising the programme as part of the 29th National Youth Festival–2026.

During the interaction at Lok Bhavan, the Governor congratulated the young achievers on clearing a rigorous, multi-stage national selection process. He praised their dedication, creativity and perseverance. Moreover, he described their success as a moment of pride for Telangana.

The Governor informed the participants that the national dialogue will take place in New Delhi from January 8 to January 12, 2026. He also noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the programme.

Addressing the winners, the Governor said they represent a generation driven by ideas, innovation and inclusive growth. Therefore, he urged them to actively contribute to nation-building and carry forward the vision of a developed India through leadership.

Young leaders to attend national dialogue

Furthermore, the Governor encouraged the participants to use the platform to exchange ideas and learn from peers across the country. He said they should return with insights that can strengthen social and economic development at the grassroots level.

Meanwhile, officials present at the event said the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue seeks to identify and nurture young talent. According to them, the initiative aims to prepare future leaders who can shape India’s long-term development agenda through policy engagement, innovation and civic leadership.
