Cyberabad traffic police get protective goggles to aid road duty
Hyderabad: Gajarao Bhupal, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad, distributed protective goggles to traffic police personnel on Tuesday. The initiative aims to shield personnel from pollution and harsh sunlight during road duties.
Speaking at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, the Joint CP said traffic personnel face constant exposure to dust, pollution, and heat. He stressed that better health enables them to deliver more efficient public service.
The department provided the goggles as part of a welfare initiative. The measure focuses on eye protection for personnel managing traffic at busy junctions across Cyberabad.

Several senior officers attended the programme. They included Madhapur Traffic ADCP Hanumanth Rao and ACP Chandrashekar Reddy. Medchal Traffic ACP Venkata Reddy, Kukatpally Traffic ACP Venkatayya, and Balanagar Traffic ACP Giriprasad were also present.
Traffic inspectors, sub-inspectors, and other personnel took part in the event. Officials said the department will continue such welfare measures to improve working conditions for traffic police across Cyberabad.
