Free medical camp helps 200 residents in Amberpet

Hyderabad: A free medical camp organised by Amberpet Police in association with KIMS Foundation benefited around 200 residents with consultations, diagnostic tests and medicines.

The camp was held on April 29, 2026, at the Government Primary School in Tulasi Ram Nagar, Golnaka Lanka, and began at 09:30 am. Rakshitha Krishna Murthy inaugurated the programme and highlighted the importance of health awareness and community welfare initiatives.

Officials said a team of specialist doctors from KIMS Foundation offered services in general medicine, orthopedics, gynecology, pediatrics and physiotherapy. In addition, medical teams conducted basic diagnostic tests, including blood glucose, blood pressure and hemoglobin checks, at the venue.

Free medical camp provides multi-specialty healthcare access

The free medical camp also ensured distribution of essential medicines at no cost to beneficiaries. Police officials said the initiative aimed to improve access to healthcare services for local residents.

The programme was attended by Additional DCP J. Narsaiah, ACP OU Division G. Jagan and Inspector T. Kiran Kumar, along with Amberpet police staff. Authorities said such outreach activities would continue to strengthen community engagement and public health awareness.
