Suspicious movement case ends in 4-day conviction

Hyderabad: A suspicious movement case resulted in a four-day conviction for four accused after a magistrate court in the city found them guilty under relevant provisions of the CP Act.

Chandrayangutta police registered the e-petty case (HYD2335PC 395/2026) under Section 61-b of the CP Act. The accused were identified as Shaik Hashim ali alias Hasham (23), Shaik Tajuddin (19), Shaik Rehman (18), and G. Sai Kiran (19).

Police said the four were found moving in a suspicious manner within the Chandrayangutta police station limits. Officers detained them and initiated legal proceedings based on their conduct.

Court acts in suspicious movement case under CP Act

The case was heard by Sri Narsing Rao, IX Special Metropolitan Magistrate, at the Manoranjan Complex in Nampally. The court convicted all four accused and awarded a four-day sentence.

Sub-Inspector Kiran Kumar investigated the case, while court duty officer B. Bharath Kumar handled procedural aspects. Officials stated that such action aims to deter suspicious activities and maintain public order in the area.
