Santosh Nagar flyover works to be completed by June: GHMC Commissioner
Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan directed officials to complete the Santosh Nagar flyover works by June after conducting an inspection on Tuesday.
He made an unscheduled visit to the flyover project earlier in the day. During the inspection, he instructed engineering teams to speed up construction. He also fixed June as the firm deadline for completion of the project.
The Commissioner stressed that officials must maintain a steady pace to avoid delays. He added that timely completion of the flyover works would ease traffic congestion in the area.

Charminar Zonal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy accompanied Karnan during the inspection. Other senior officials also reviewed the ongoing construction activities at the site.
Officials assessed the progress of structural work and discussed measures to accelerate execution. They focused on ensuring that all pending tasks are completed within the stipulated timeline.
The flyover is expected to improve connectivity between Chanchalguda and Santosh Nagar once it is opened to the public. Authorities believe the project will help streamline vehicular movement in the busy corridor.
