KPHB spa raids lead to arrest of 20 people

KPHB spa raids: Police detain 20 in crackdown

Hyderabad: Police conducted KPHB spa raids on two spa centres in the KPHB police station limits and detained 20 people after detecting several violations, Inspector Rajasekhar Reddy said.

The inspections were carried out after police received credible information about suspected illegal activities at the establishments. Acting on the inputs, police teams carried out surprise checks at the two spa centres in the area.

During the operation, officers identified multiple irregularities and violations of operating rules. Police subsequently detained 20 individuals who were present at the locations during the inspection and shifted them to the police station.

Inspector Rajasekhar Reddy said authorities registered two separate cases against the spa centres for running operations in violation of regulations.

Violations found during KPHB spa raids

Police said the KPHB spa raids were conducted as part of ongoing enforcement against unlawful activities operating under the guise of spa and wellness centres.

Officials stated that strict monitoring will continue in the KPHB police station limits. They warned that anyone involved in illegal operations or violating licensing rules will face legal action.

The detained individuals were taken to the police station for further inquiry. Police said investigations are underway to determine the extent of violations and whether the establishments had been operating illegally for a longer period.

Inspector Rajasekhar Reddy also cautioned spa centre operators to strictly follow the rules. He said police will take firm action if any centre is found conducting activities that violate the law.
