Cyberabad Police 24th Formation Day on February 12

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police Commissionerate will celebrate the Cyberabad Police 24th Formation Day on February 12, 2026, marking more than two decades of urban policing in one of India’s fastest-growing regions.

The formal ceremony will commence at 10:00 AM at the Cyberabad CP Office. Dr. M. Ramesh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, will hoist the national flag to begin the observance. Officials confirmed that the programme will bring together personnel and community representatives.

Cyberabad Police 24th Formation Day Marks Two Decades

Following the flag hoisting ceremony, a series of civic and welfare activities will take place. These include a blood donation camp, a plantation drive, and community engagement programmes designed to strengthen ties between the police and the public. Organisers stated that the celebrations reflect both institutional pride and social responsibility.

Established in 2003 under the Cyberabad Metropolitan Act, the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate serves a high-growth urban zone. The jurisdiction includes the Financial District, IT Corridor, Global Capability Centres, medical and vaccine hubs, and major hospitality zones. Over the years, the commissionerate has developed into a nationally recognised model of modern urban policing.
