Major fire incident in Nampally leaves two children reportedly trapped
Hyderabad: A major fire incident was reported in Nampally after a massive blaze broke out at a furniture shop located in the Cheeraq Gali Line area, triggering panic among local residents.
Police and fire officials said the fire originated on the ground floor of a four-storey building and rapidly spread to the upper floors due to combustible material stored inside the shop. Thick smoke engulfed the structure within minutes, complicating rescue efforts.
Two children were reportedly trapped inside the building at the time of the incident. Officials said emergency teams were focusing on search and rescue operations while attempting to bring the fire under control.
