Education alone can transform lives: Dr Vivek Venkatswamy
Hyderabad: Labour and Mines Minister G. Vivek Venkatswamy on Thursday said education alone has the power to transform lives. He urged students to pursue learning with discipline and dedication. According to him, sustained hard work and self-belief help the younger generation reach greater heights.
He spoke as chief guest at the inauguration of a scholarship programme at KLH University. During the event, he interacted with students in a face-to-face session. The address focused on the theme, “Personality Development and Higher Values.”
Education transforms lives through discipline and values
During his speech, Dr Vivek Venkatswamy praised the ₹100-crore scholarship initiative launched by KLH University. He described it as a commendable step. He also advised students to make the best use of the opportunity. Additionally, he stressed that respecting parents remains a fundamental responsibility. He urged students to continue learning throughout their lives.
Reflecting on his personal journey, the Minister said he studied at Hyderabad Public School. Later, he completed his medical education. He then entered politics with the aim of public service. He added that inspiration from his father shaped his path.
Further, he said discipline, hard work, and confidence make success inevitable. He also noted that Vishakha Industries operates in 12 states. The company, he said, provides employment to nearly 5,000 people. He added that he played a key role in the Telangana statehood movement. University authorities, faculty members, and students attended the programme.
