Rythu Bharosa funds reach 1.79 lakh farmers

Hyderabad: Rythu Bharosa funds were credited to 1,79,936 farmers in Jangaon district for the 2025–26 Yasangi season, with District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha confirming that ₹91.99 crore was transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The funds covered farmers across 12 mandals and 176 villages. Officials said the process followed government guidelines and ensured direct transfer into beneficiaries’ bank accounts without intermediaries. The administration stated that the scheme aims to support crop investment and reduce financial pressure on farmers.

The state government released the Rythu Bharosa funds as part of its broader push to strengthen agricultural livelihoods. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has prioritised timely financial assistance to farmers to sustain agricultural productivity.

Farmers across the district reported that the assistance helped them manage cultivation expenses. Several beneficiaries said the funds improved their ability to invest in crops and maintain farm operations during the season.

Rythu Bharosa funds boost crop investment across mandals

Under the Rythu Bharosa funds scheme, eligible farmers received ₹6,000 per acre as investment support. Beneficiaries said the timely assistance helped them plan agricultural activities and purchase inputs such as seeds and fertilisers.

Sandhya from Ramavaram village in Kodakandla mandal said she received support for her 1.5 acres and used it for cultivation. Similarly, Narahari from Meedikonda village in Ghanpur (Station) mandal said the funds supported his 5-acre farmland during the first phase.

Raju from Theegaram village in Jaffergad mandal said he used the assistance for vegetable cultivation on his land. Srilatha from Himmatnagar village also acknowledged receiving support for her 1.5 acres and expressed gratitude for the initiative.

Officials said the Rythu Bharosa funds continue to play a key role in improving farm productivity and ensuring financial stability. The government reiterated that the scheme remains central to its efforts to strengthen rural incomes and promote sustainable agricultural growth.
