Hyderabad Weather Alert as Clouds Cover City
Hyderabad: The city witnessed a sudden shift in weather conditions as dense clouds covered the skyline, raising the possibility of rainfall at any moment. The Hyderabad weather alert comes amid changing atmospheric conditions linked to a low-pressure system.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, the sun blazed across the city. However, by afternoon, the sky turned overcast, and signs of rainfall became visible. As a result, meteorological experts have advised residents and commuters to remain cautious.
Low-Pressure System Triggers Hyderabad Weather Alert
According to weather officials, the impact of a low-pressure system that formed over the Bay of Bengal three days ago is influencing conditions in Hyderabad. Consequently, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and light to moderate rainfall are expected in Hyderabad as well as in Ranga Reddy and Medchal districts. In view of the forecast, authorities have issued an Orange Alert for the city.
At present, the temperature in Hyderabad stands at 29°C. Meanwhile, with rain likely during the evening hours, motorists and pedestrians have been urged to exercise caution. Additionally, residents in low-lying areas have been advised to stay alert. Officials also warned people to remain careful near electric poles.
Sudden showers may disrupt traffic flow across parts of the city. Therefore, commuters are encouraged to plan travel carefully and take necessary precautions under the ongoing Hyderabad weather alert.
