Midnight phone snatching reported at BN Reddy Vinayaka Hills
Hyderabad: A case of midnight phone snatching was reported from BN Reddy Vinayaka Hills, where two bike-borne thieves allegedly snatched a mobile phone from a youth and fled within seconds.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred when the victim had parked his bike in front of his house. At that moment, two men arrived on another motorcycle. As soon as the bike stopped, the pillion rider allegedly grabbed the mobile phone from the youth’s hand in one swift move.
The thieves fled the spot immediately. The victim, shocked by the sudden incident, remained stunned for a few moments. He later attempted to chase them on his bike, but the effort proved futile as the suspects disappeared into the deserted streets.
Midnight phone snatching captured on CCTV
The midnight phone snatching took place around 1.30 am on Road No. 3 at BN Reddy Vinayaka Hills. The area was largely deserted at the time, which reportedly helped the suspects escape quickly.
The entire incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras. Police said they were examining the footage to identify the culprits and trace their escape route. Further investigation was underway.
