TG LAWCET 2026 notification released; key dates announced
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education on Tuesday released the notification for TG LAWCET 2026 and PGLCET 2026 for admissions into law courses for the 2026–27 academic year.
The entrance examinations will be conducted for admission into three-year and five-year LLB courses, as well as the two-year LLM programme. This year, the examinations will be organised by Osmania University on behalf of the state higher education council.
According to officials of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, the notification for TG LAWCET 2026 and PGLCET 2026 will be officially issued on February 8, 2026. Online applications will open from February 10, 2026.
Candidates can submit applications without a late fee until April 1, 2026. Applications will also be accepted with a late fee until May 13, 2026, officials said.
The entrance tests will be conducted in computer-based mode across designated centres in the state.
TG LAWCET 2026 exam scheduled on May 18
The TG LAWCET 2026 examinations will be held on May 18, 2026. Officials said the test for the three-year LLB course will be conducted in the forenoon session on the same day.
The examination for the five-year LLB course and the PGLCET 2026 test for LLM admissions will be held in the afternoon session.
The entrance tests are the gateway for admission to law colleges across Telangana for the upcoming academic year.
