Hyderabad: The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers (TNGO) Central Association and Hyderabad district union leaders on Monday welcomed the state government’s decision to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees from 30.03 per cent to 33.67 per cent, terming it a significant relief for the workforce.

Reacting to the decision, TNGO Central Association president Marvam Jagadishwar thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for prioritising employee welfare despite financial constraints faced by the state. He said the DA hike would strengthen the economic security of employees and described it as the outcome of continuous discussions held with the government.

Jagadishwar said the association would continue its efforts to protect the rights of employees and pursue pending demands in the coming days. He added that the latest DA increase reflected the government’s positive approach towards its workforce.

DA hike Telangana brings relief to employees, say TNGO leaders

TNGO Central Association general secretary S. M. Hussaini, also known as Mujib, expressed happiness over the DA hike Telangana decision. He said that during the upcoming official meeting with the Chief Minister, other employee grievances and long-pending issues were expected to be resolved.

TNGO Hyderabad district president S. Vikram Kumar and district secretary also welcomed the decision, stating that the DA increase would provide much-needed relief to employees at the grassroots level.

Union leaders said the DA hike had boosted morale among state government employees and reiterated their commitment to working with the government for the resolution of remaining issues.
