Deputy CM Bhatti outlines agenda for Telangana Global Summit
Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said on Saturday that the Telangana Global Summit, beginning on December 8, will play a major role in drawing new investments to the state. He noted that the summit aims to shape Telangana’s long-term future. It will also attract global attention through policy discussions and the launch of a vision document.
Addressing the media, Bhatti said Governor Jishnu Dev Varma will inaugurate the event at 1 PM on December 8. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and several ministers will deliver keynote speeches on the opening day. The two-day summit will feature 27 thematic sessions.
Bhatti added that the Telangana Vision 2047 documentary will be a major highlight. He said it is expected to draw strong international interest. On Day 1, speeches will run from 1 PM to 3 PM, and the Chief Minister will speak at 2:30 PM. Sectoral discussions will begin at 3 PM with the power sector.
Summit to spotlight semiconductors, green energy, and aerospace
The afternoon sessions will focus on semiconductors, green energy, aerospace and education. These discussions will end at 6 PM. The summit will resume on December 9 at 10 AM and conclude at 6 PM.
Bhatti said the summit is open to all stakeholders interested in Telangana’s growth. Moreover, he stated that the government is arranging special travel plans for key attendees because of recent disruptions in commercial air travel, including the IndiGo crisis. If needed, private flights will be provided to ensure smooth access for high-level participants.
