Nizamuddin Confident of Congress Success in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad: TPCC spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin on Saturday voiced strong confidence that the Congress party would triumph in the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. He said voters had recognised the Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s (BRS) “empty propaganda” and were backing Congress candidate V. Naveen Yadav.

While leading a door-to-door campaign in Shaikpet, Nizamuddin said the enthusiastic reception from citizens was evidence of public approval for the Revanth Reddy government. “This administration has delivered results within eleven months—be it welfare, transparency, or equality,” he noted.

He credited timely welfare programmes and social support as reasons for growing confidence in Congress. “From farmers to women and youth, people feel heard. The BRS, despite ruling for ten years, neglected basic amenities in Jubilee Hills,” he said.

Nizamuddin credits reforms and inclusiveness for Congress momentum

Attacking BRS leader K. T. Rama Rao, he said the opposition was trying to mislead voters. “KTR is repeating hollow claims to hide failures. Citizens remember the poor roads, waterlogging, and neglect of slums,” he said.

Nizamuddin described the bypoll as a referendum on governance. “Congress delivers, BRS deceives. This by-election will end the arrogance that characterised BRS rule,” he remarked.

He emphasised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s reforms aimed at social justice—appointing minority professionals to state panels, expanding education, and planning to raise Muslim reservation from 4% to 10%. “These initiatives go beyond symbolism,” he added.

He also appealed to voters to remain alert against fake news. “The BRS is using social media to circulate lies. We have reported the issue to the Election Commission. Telangana’s people will respond wisely,” he said.

Nizamuddin lauded Naveen Yadav’s outreach and popularity among youth, women, and minorities. “He represents a new, accountable generation. The support he receives proves that Jubilee Hills wants progressive leadership,” he said.

He concluded by urging voters to participate on November 11 to reinforce Hyderabad’s commitment to inclusive growth. Counting is on November 14.
