KTR Accuses Congress of Betrayal, Predicts Loss in Jubilee Hills
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has intensified his offensive against the Congress government, alleging that it has “betrayed every section of society” and failed to keep a single promise made to the people of Telangana.
Addressing a spirited roadshow in Shaikpet while campaigning for Maganti Sunitha, wife of late MLA Maganti Gopinath, KTR declared that the Congress would face its biggest humiliation yet in the Jubilee Hills by-election.
“Only when the Congress loses its deposit here will it realise that people will no longer tolerate its lies,” KTR said, calling Sunitha’s victory a “mandate for accountability.” He accused the government of selling false dreams and delivering zero results.
KTR Congress Battle Over Jubilee Hills Promises and Corruption
KTR alleged that Telangana had been reduced to “a state of scams, commissions, and chaos.” He said, “Every department has become a market for kickbacks. Ministers compete for commissions while people suffer.”
Slamming the much-publicised “Six Guarantees,” he remarked, “These are six grand deceptions. No pension, no youth allowance, no scooters, not even free water remains. Congress has killed the welfare spirit of Bathukamma, Ramzan, and Christmas.”
Turning his attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, KTR described him as “a symbol of arrogance and deception.” He said Revanth’s rule was marked by “bulldozed homes, ruined industries, and shattered livelihoods.”
He urged voters to “teach Congress a fitting lesson” by electing Maganti Sunitha with a decisive majority. “Let Jubilee Hills speak for four crore Telangana people. Accept Congress money if offered, but vote for the Car symbol,” he urged.
KTR concluded that the by-election would mark the “start of Telangana’s political cleansing” and the “countdown to KCR’s return as Chief Minister.”
