Armed Reserve ASI killed in road accident
Hyderabad: A lorry hit and killed an Armed Reserve assistant sub-inspector in a road accident on Sunday within the limits of Medipally Police Station, police said.
Police identified the victim as Raghupathi (59). He was riding his motorcycle from Uppal towards Annajiguda when a lorry rammed his two-wheeler from behind. The impact threw him onto the road and caused fatal injuries. He died on the spot.
Police rushed to the scene soon after receiving information. They shifted the body for post-mortem examination.

Police registered a case and began an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Teams are also searching for the lorry driver involved in the incident.
The ASI’s sudden death shocked the police department. Colleagues expressed grief over the loss.
