Hyderabad traffic diversions for flyover event

Hyderabad: Hyderabad traffic diversions will be enforced on September 3 from 2 PM to 7 PM for the inauguration of the Nalgonda X Road–Owaisi Junction Flyover Bridge.

Hyderabad City Police said the road stretch between Saidabad Y Junction and Nalgonda X Road will remain closed during the inauguration. Therefore, motorists have been advised to avoid the Nalgonda X Road–Saidabad Y Junction stretch.

Heavy congestion was expected on surrounding roads and junctions during the event. Motorists were asked to plan their journeys in advance and use alternate routes.

Traffic from Nalgonda X Road towards Saidabad Y Junction and Santosh Nagar or IS Sadan will take an alternate route. The diversion will run through Malakpet Gunj, Moosarambagh X Road, Gaddianaram X Road, Champapet and DMRL Rotary.

Meanwhile, vehicles travelling from IS Sadan or Chanchalguda towards Nalgonda X Road will follow another route. They will move through Saidabad, DCP-III Office, Saidabad PS, Saraswathi Nagar Kaman and Sankeswar Bazar.

The route will then continue through Gaddianaram X Road towards Nalgonda X Road. Traffic police personnel will guide motorists through the affected stretches.

Traffic from Mirchowk towards Saidabad Y Junction via Dabeerpura Bridge will also face a diversion. Vehicles will be diverted at Tribunal Court (APAT) and directed through Dabeerpura Kaman and Shaik Fayaz Kaman.

Hyderabad traffic diversions cover four major routes

The Mirchowk diversion will continue through Ganga Nala, Bada Bazar, Yakutpura RUB and the 82 Bus Stop. Motorists will then use Madannapet Mandi and Santosh Nagar Main Road.

Separately, traffic from Dabeerpura Kaman towards Chanchalguda X Road and Malakpet will follow another route. The diversion will pass through Tribunal Court (APAT), Darulshifa Ground, Success School and SJ Rotary.

From there, motorists will proceed towards Chaderghat and Malakpet Main Road. The traffic police urged motorists to follow instructions at diversion points.

The advisory covered the period from 2 PM to 7 PM on September 3. Authorities specifically asked the general public to avoid the Nalgonda X Road–Saidabad Y Junction stretch.

Motorists were advised to account for additional travel time because of expected congestion. They were also asked to follow traffic police instructions and choose alternate routes wherever possible.
