Moinabad farmhouse drugs case: SIT questions three accused
Hyderabad: The SIT intensified its probe into the Moinabad farmhouse drugs case and questioned three key accused on Thursday, officials said.
Earlier, the Telangana government formed a Special Investigation Team under Rajendranagar DCP Yogesh Gautam to ensure a thorough probe. Since then, the team has been examining possible interstate and international links in the drug supply chain.
Currently, officials are questioning Namit Sharma, his brother Riteesh Reddy, and former BRS MLA Rohith Reddy. Through this interrogation, investigators aim to trace the source of narcotics used at the farmhouse party.

At present, investigators are focusing on how the accused procured the drugs. They suspect that the supply may have originated from cities like Bengaluru or Goa.
Meanwhile, the SIT is analysing phone call data records and social media chats to map the wider network. In addition, officials are working to identify drug peddlers and other individuals linked to the case.
Further, authorities are examining the list of attendees at the farmhouse party. According to preliminary inputs, several prominent individuals and children of businessmen from the city attended the event.
At the same time, the SIT has seized CCTV footage from the farmhouse and is reviewing it closely. Based on these findings, officials may issue more notices to those connected to the case.
