JEE Mains registration window reopened for session 2
Hyderabad: The National Testing Agency reopened the JEE Mains registration window for Session 2, giving candidates another opportunity to apply for the engineering entrance examination.
The agency announced that the decision followed numerous requests from students who missed the earlier deadline. As a result, the JEE Mains registration portal has been reopened for a limited period.
According to the official update, candidates can submit their applications from Thursday until Friday at 9 pm. However, the agency clarified that applicants will not be allowed to modify details in forms that were already submitted earlier.
Officials said the additional opportunity aims to help students who could not complete the registration process within the initial deadline.
JEE Mains registration deadline extended for applicants
The National Testing Agency stated that the extension applies only to fresh registrations for Session 2 of the examination. Students who have already applied will not be able to make corrections to their existing applications.
The JEE Mains Session 2 examinations are scheduled to take place from April 2 to April 9. Candidates who plan to appear for the test must complete the registration process within the revised deadline.
JEE Mains is one of the most important national-level entrance examinations for admission to engineering programmes across India, including institutes such as NITs and IIITs.
