GHMC received 263 Prajavani applications across zones
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation received 263 GHMC Prajavani applications on Monday, officials said, with complaints submitted from various zones and the GHMC head office.
According to officials, the highest number of GHMC Prajavani applications came from Uppal zone with 42 complaints, followed by Quthbullapur with 37 and Malkajgiri with 30. Kukatpally zone reported 28 applications, while SLP zone received 24.
Officials said LB Nagar zone recorded 11 GHMC Prajavani applications, Secunderabad received six, Rajendranagar received five and Shamshabad also reported five complaints. Khairatabad zone accounted for four applications.
Charminar zone received two applications, while Golconda zone recorded one complaint, officials added.
GHMC Prajavani applications include head office submissions
Officials said the GHMC head office alone received 68 applications on the same day, reflecting continued public engagement with the grievance redressal programme.
They said all applications would be forwarded to the respective departments and zonal offices for verification and time-bound resolution. Monitoring mechanisms were in place to ensure follow-up action on each complaint.
GHMC officials reiterated that Prajavani remained a key platform for citizens to raise civic issues directly with the municipal administration and seek prompt redressal.
