Three labourers killed as DCM rams cement tanker in Miryalaguda
Hyderabad: A road accident in Miryalaguda town of Nalgonda district claimed the lives of three labourers on the spot on Tuesday.
The crash took place on the Miryalaguda bypass road. A cement tanker attempted a U-turn at the bypass when a DCM vehicle rammed into it at high speed. The DCM was carrying tiles along with labourers.
As a result of the impact, tiles fell from the vehicle onto the labourers. Three workers died instantly at the scene.
Meanwhile, three other labourers suffered serious injuries. Local residents rushed to the spot and shifted them to a nearby hospital. Doctors described their condition as critical.
Traffic disruption followed the accident. Debris from both vehicles blocked the road and slowed movement. Police later used a crane to remove the damaged vehicles and restore traffic flow.
