Cyberabad CP visits injured home guard, assures full medical support
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh visited an injured home guard at a private hospital on Thursday. He assured the family that the police department would cover the full cost of treatment.
The Commissioner met home guard M.D. Nayeemuddin from the Madhapur Traffic Police Station at Medicover Hospital. Nayeemuddin is receiving treatment for injuries he sustained while on traffic duty. During the visit, the CP spoke with the injured personnel and his family. He also instructed officers to ensure the best possible medical care.
Officials said the accident occurred on the morning of December 30 near Parvath Nagar, Jaihind Enclave. While Nayeemuddin was regulating traffic, a car hit him. The impact caused a fracture to his right leg.

After the incident, Madhapur traffic police registered a case. They also took the car driver into custody. Senior officers said the investigation is ongoing and that they will take legal action as per law.
Several senior officers accompanied the Commissioner during the hospital visit. They included Rithiraj, Madhapur Traffic DCP Sai Manohar, ADCP Uday Reddy, Traffic ADCP Hanumantha Rao, Traffic ACP Chandrashekhar Reddy and Traffic Inspector A. Sridhar Kumar.
Police officials said the visit reflects the department’s commitment to the welfare of personnel injured during official duties.
