Unidentified body found at Kothapalli Bridge, police seek information
Hyderabad: An unidentified body was found in water at Kothapalli Bridge in Wanaparthy district on Wednesday, police said.
According to Sub-Inspector Sekhar Reddy, the body of an unidentified man, aged around 30 years, was noticed by locals near the bridge in the mandal. Police reached the spot after receiving information before 9 am and began preliminary inquiries.
The deceased was about 5.7 feet tall and was wearing a white vest and black underwear, the SI said. Police said visible identification marks were being noted to help establish the identity of the deceased.
Unidentified body found shifted to hospital mortuary
Police registered a case and shifted the body to the mortuary at the Wanaparthy Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Officials appealed to the public to come forward with any information that could help identify the deceased. Police requested anyone with details to contact them at 8712670633, the SI said.
