Hyderabad National Book Fair Begins at NTR Stadium
Hyderabad: The much-awaited Hyderabad National Book Fair, regarded as a festival for book lovers, begins today in the city. The 38th edition of the National Book Fair is being held at NTR Stadium, located opposite Indira Park in Hyderabad.
The book fair will continue for 11 days, from today until the 29th of this month. The event will be inaugurated today by Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. Organisers stated that the exhibition will be open to visitors from 1 pm to 9 pm on weekdays, while on weekends it will begin at 12 pm.
Hyderabad National Book Fair features 365 stalls
An entry fee of Rs.10 has been fixed for the general public. However, entry is free for writers, journalists, and school students. A total of 365 stalls have been arranged at the venue, offering a wide range of Telugu, national, and international books.
The organisers said that the Hyderabad Book Fair attracts not less than 10 lakh book-lovers every year. This year, they are expecting more than 15 lakh visitors to attend the literary festival.
