Court reserves order on iBomma Ravi custody and bail pleas
Hyderabad: A Hyderabad court on Thursday reserved its order on the custody and bail petitions of iBomma operator Imandi Ravi alias iBomma Ravi. This was after hearing arguments from both sides.
Ravi’s counsel told the Nampally court that cybercrime police had already interrogated him for eight days in one case. He argued that police were now seeking custody again in a similar case. He alleged that this was being done only to delay his bail.
Police, meanwhile, said they needed further custody of Ravi. They wanted to gather more evidence related to the piracy of “Tandel” and “Kubera” films.

The judge postponed the verdict on both the custody and bail petitions to Friday. With arguments complete on both fronts, the court said it would deliver a combined order.
Ravi is facing charges linked to the illegal distribution of copyrighted films on the I Bomma platform.
