Team India jersey sponsor rates hiked, BCCI eyes ₹400 crore-plus deal

Hyderabad: The Indian cricket team will play the Asia Cup without a jersey sponsor after BCCI ended its deal with Dream11. But the board has now raised rates for the next Team India jersey sponsor, opening a new tender process.
Under the revised structure, sponsors will pay ₹3.5 crore per bilateral match and ₹1.5 crore per ICC or multi-nation game. The old rates stood at ₹3.17 crore and ₹1.12 crore.
Asia Cup to see India without Team India jersey sponsor for first time in years
BCCI issued the tender on September 2, with bidding closing on September 16. Tender documents can be purchased until September 12. The new deal, effective after the Asia Cup, could net BCCI more than ₹400 crore.
Strict restrictions remain in place, barring alcohol, tobacco, betting, crypto, and other categories from bidding.
The Asia Cup kicks off on September 9, but with Dream11 gone, India will take the field without a sponsor logo on its jersey for the first time in years.
