Minister Vivek Chennur morning walk to review civic issues

Hyderabad: G. Vivek Venkatswamy, Telangana’s Labour and Mines Minister, took part in a morning walk within the limits of Chennur on Monday and reviewed civic issues by interacting directly with local residents.

During the walk, the Minister toured several wards in the municipality and listened to public grievances raised by residents. Locals flagged problems related to drinking water scarcity, non-functioning borewells, and sanitation lapses in their neighbourhoods.

Responding immediately, Minister Vivek Venkatswamy directed municipal officials to take up sanitation works without delay. He stressed that cleanliness issues should be addressed on a priority basis to improve living conditions in the wards.

The Minister assured residents that new CC roads would be taken up soon in the concerned wards. He also said borewells would be installed wherever required to prevent any shortage of drinking water.

Vivek Venkatswamy said public issues would be examined at the ground level and resolved promptly through coordinated action by departments. He underlined that regular field visits were necessary to understand real problems faced by citizens.

Local public representatives, party leaders, and officials from the municipal administration and other departments participated in the programme.
