Rain forecast for Hyderabad, cold wave alert in north Telangana
Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a rain forecast for Hyderabad and parts of southern Telangana. They also warned of a cold wave in northern districts.
According to officials, light rainfall was reported in Nagar Kurnool, Nalgonda, Wanaparthy, and Gadwal districts on Wednesday. However, most parts of the state, including Hyderabad, experienced dry conditions throughout the day.
The IMD has predicted rain in Hyderabad and southern Telangana areas on Thursday and Friday. A return to dry weather is expected on December 6 and 7.
Hyderabad Rain Forecast: Cold wave expected in three districts
Weather officials have also warned of a likely cold wave sweeping through Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, and Nizamabad districts in the coming days. A significant drop in minimum temperatures is expected statewide from December 9 onward.
Authorities have urged residents in northern districts to take precautions, especially during early mornings and late nights.
