Cyberabad Police review situation at RGIA amid IndiGo disruptions
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police officials visited the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Thursday to assess the impact of ongoing IndiGo flight disruptions and ensure smooth passenger movement.
DCP Shamshabad B. Rajesh, Additional DCP K. Purnachander Rao, ACP V. Srikanth Goud, and RGIA Outpost Inspector Sampathi Kanakaiah held a review meeting on-site. They met with the Regional Manager of IndiGo, who briefed them on the reasons behind the cancellations and assured that efforts are underway to restore normal operations at the earliest.
The police team inspected key passenger areas, including IndiGo check-in counters, departure halls, boarding gates, and bus gates. They reviewed foot traffic and deployment of staff at critical points.
Police advise steps to ease passenger flow amid IndiGo flight disruptions
Officials instructed the Station House Officer to take all necessary steps to assist passengers, especially during peak hours, until full normalcy returns. They emphasised proactive support to ensure minimal inconvenience to travellers during this period of disruption.
