Chinese manja injury leaves elderly woman critically hurt in Mirpet
Hyderabad: A banned Chinese manja kite string seriously injured an elderly woman in the Mirpet area of Ranga Reddy district on Wednesday.
The incident took place on Almasguda main road under the limits of Mirpet Police Station. The victim, Yadamma (70), was walking along the roadside when the sharp string suddenly wrapped around her leg.
The manja cut deep into her leg and caused heavy bleeding. Meanwhile, local residents noticed the incident and rushed to help. They immediately shifted Yadamma to a nearby private hospital.

Doctors said Yadamma is undergoing treatment at the hospital. They are closely monitoring her condition. Police officials said they are awaiting further medical details.
