Tamil Nadu and J&K CMs invited to Telangana Rising 2047 Global Summit
Hyderabad: Telangana Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy has invited the Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu and Jammu & Kashmir to attend the Telangana Rising 2047 Global Summit in Hyderabad on December 8 and 9.
In Chennai, Reddy met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and personally handed him the official invitation. He explained the summit’s goals and Telangana’s broader economic strategy. According to him, the event aims to attract international investors, global companies, and policy institutions. The state plans to showcase opportunities in industry, development, and job creation.
Later, in New Delhi, the minister visited Jammu & Kashmir House to meet Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. There too, he presented a printed invitation and discussed the summit’s key themes. He said the government will launch the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document during the event. This document outlines the state’s target of becoming a $3 trillion economy. It also sets goals for multiple sectors and includes guidance from NITI Aayog and domain experts.

Reddy emphasised that the summit reflects Telangana’s commitment to long-term planning. He said the state has worked closely with experts and stakeholders to shape its future vision.
Omar Abdullah thanked both Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy for the formal invitation. Although he may not attend, he extended best wishes for the summit’s success. He also expressed confidence that Hyderabad will continue to grow into a world-class city.
