Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board on Wednesday released the provisional merit list for recruitment to 2,322 nursing officer posts, following the computer-based test held on November 23, 2024.

In a press note, the member secretary said candidates would get another opportunity to submit objections to the provisional merit list. Objections can be filed from December 24, 2025, to December 27, 2025, through the prescribed process.

For these posts, a total of 42,244 candidates applied, while 40,423 candidates appeared for the computer-based test. Officials said the board issued the preliminary answer key on November 26, and declared the results on May 5, 2025.

Nursing officer recruitment process moves to next stage

The board had earlier released a provisional selection list and allowed candidates to raise objections. The member secretary clarified that the board would not re-verify details other than computer-based marks and weightage marks. He said document verification would take place only at the certificate verification stage.

He added that a second provisional merit list would be released shortly. After that, shortlisted candidates would be called for certificate verification. The member secretary also said the entire recruitment process would remain subject to the outcome of cases pending before the High Court.
