Hair salon owner murder case under investigation
Hyderabad: Police launched an intensive investigation on Thursday morning after miscreants brutally murdered a hair salon owner near Kaveliguda under the limits of Shamshabad Police Station.
The victim, Mahesh (26), lived in Venkatapur village of Moinabad mandal and ran a local hair salon for his livelihood. Police found his body with deep knife wounds on the neck, clearly pointing to a violent and targeted attack. Based on initial findings, investigators suspect personal motives behind the murder.
Early on Thursday, a local leader from Ramanjapur village alerted the police about the incident. Acting swiftly, Inspector Narender Reddy rushed to the spot with his team and collected preliminary evidence. Meanwhile, locals told investigators that someone may have lured Mahesh under the pretext of a discussion before killing him.
Hair salon murder probe focuses on personal angle
Investigators said residents suspect a possible link to an alleged illicit relationship. However, police clarified that they have not reached any conclusion yet. Authorities shifted the body to Osmania Hospital for a post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.
Inspector Narender Reddy said police are probing the case from all possible angles. He assured that officers would identify and arrest the culprits soon. As part of the probe, police continue to question people close to the victim.
