Gurukul hostel negligence: Harish Rao hits out at congress government

Hyderabad: BRS MLA T. Harish Rao criticised the Congress government after three students at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Gurukul Hostel in Alampur suffered rat bites and required hospital care.
Harish Rao said students in Gurukul Hostels face rat bites, dog attacks, snake bites and even electric shocks. He blamed poor hostel management for these problems.

The MLA questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s promises. He asked why the Chief Minister had not monitored hostels personally or acted against contractors serving poor food.
Calling the incident shameful, Harish Rao demanded a special drive to fix hostel issues. He also sought an urgent high-level review of conditions in all Gurukul Hostels.
