Dowry Harassment Leads to Woman’s Death in Tandur
Hyderabad: A case of alleged dowry harassment led a Husband kills young woman in Tandur town of Vikarabad district. The victim reportedly died after being severely beaten by her husband following a domestic dispute.
Anusha (22) married Paramesh eight months ago after a love affair. Despite resistance from his parents, the marriage took place. However, her expectations of a peaceful married life were shattered as she allegedly faced harassment for dowry from her husband and in-laws.
Husband kills young woman after domestic dispute
A week prior to the incident, Anusha was reportedly assaulted and taken to her parental home for medical treatment. On Thursday, Paramesh brought her back, assuring that he would look after her.
Later that day, another argument reportedly occurred, during which Anusha was beaten severely. She collapsed and was taken to the hospital by locals, where she died during treatment. Police have registered a case based on her brother’s complaint and are investigating.
