Constable dies in road accident in Nagar Kurnool
Hyderabad: A police constable died in a road accident in Nagar Kurnool district on Friday night, triggering grief among police personnel. The deceased was identified as Anjaneyulu, who was working as a constable at the Pedda Kothapalli Police Station.
The accident occurred on National Highway 167 between Nagar Kurnool and Kollapur, near Vayilla Bavi village in Pedda Kothapalli mandal.
Constable dies in road accident while returning home
According to police, Anjaneyulu was returning on his motorcycle to his native village Shayinapalli in Revelli mandal after completing his duty when the accident took place. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
Police officials said that the incident is being investigated from all possible angles. Meanwhile, fellow constables and staff members expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sudden death of their colleague.
The deceased is survived by his wife. Police have registered a case and initiated further investigation into the incident.
